Space age collapse
Since the end of the 50's we have been living the so-called "Space Age": it is really the end of this era that is imagined by #Datalumifilm, aka Katerine Sultan, a Venezuelan visual artist, resident of Berlin for years.
"The Space Age Collapse" is an audio/visual performance music by #Avtømaty, a.k.a Alex Acevedo, Venezuelan electronic experimenter, also residing in Berlin.
After a very slow first ambient section, in which we witness space travel, we move to the central part in which the everyday life of a girl who survived a nuclear holocaust is portrayed.
With a tracksuit made of materials found around, the woman feeds on worms and drinks contaminated water, lives inside an abandoned factory and cannot go outside without wearing the tracksuit.
The final part is the most chaotic: the woman's dreams are technological nightmares, the memory of the end, that close the performance in a creepy way.
